Established early in 2003 by Simon Hine, HineSight Development offers a range of consulting, training and application development services. Over time the business has grown and diversified, incorporating in October 2004.

HineSight Development has always had something of a split focus between Training and Facilitation on one hand, and IT Implementation Management and Applications Development on the other.

Now in our third incarnation we have formalised this focus with the distinction you see on this site - consulting, training and tools.

Consulting - Knowledge

HineSight Development provides project and program management consulting services that can help improve your capability, and enhance your capacity to deliver.

Project and Program Management is becoming an increasingly sophisticated and knowledge based field – there are lots of ways to go about it and not every approach is right for every situation. Our consultants are qualified and certified across the major discipline approaches and we use our experience in the delivery of projects and program to help tailor an approach that suits your circumstances.
            
Our methodology base includes – Prince2, PMBOK, MSP, P3O, the Standard for Program Management and more. Our consultants are members of the Project Management Institute, and HineSight Development is an APMG Accredited Consulting Organisation.
            
Consulting engagements are tailored to the needs of the client. Specific engagement plans and deliverable descriptions are developed and agreed with clients prior to commencement, ensuring that we deliver what is required in the most productive and efficient way.

Training - Skills

Tools - Experience

Like many people who work for any period of time in the world of project and project management we have been on the lookout for tools that would enable us to do things our way. Having failed to find, and given our experience in managing application development efforts for others - we decided to start building our own!

Largely, but not exclusively centered on project and programme management, and associated disciplines like organisational planning and procurement for example, HineSight Development is building a series of web based applications that can be used independently or combined into a suite.
